During the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government funded a program that allowed all students access to free meals. That program ended with the 2021-22 school year.
If your student qualifies for free or reduced meals, you must act now to ensure meals continue for the 2022-23 school year. Please complete the 2022-2023 online application at your earliest. A link to the application is also available on the district website, and paper applications are accessible at your student’s school.
Completing an application is the only way to be considered for free or reduced meals for the upcoming school year.
If you do not qualify for free or reduced meals, you may begin depositing money into your student’s account at any time in preparation for the 2022-23 school year. If your student has a negative meal account balance, please pay the remainder as soon as possible before depositing money into the account.
Information on meal prices for the 2022-2023 school year are listed below.
Elementary Middle School High School
Breakfast Meal Price $ 1.50 $ 1.50 $ 1.50
Lunch Meal Price $ 3.00 $ 3.25 $ 3.25

LEGO LEAGUE & ROBOTICS AT LONG MEADOW
We are so excited to be partnering with the Positivity Project again this year.
What is the Positivity Project?
The Positivity Project, also referred to as P2, uses 24 character strengths to help students build positive relationships. Positive relationships are the cornerstone to health, happiness and resilience. Each week all children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade will be introduced and explicitly taught the same character strength. Everyone in our Long Meadow family will be provided with the same definition for each character strength. Children will soon be able to “see what the character trait looks like” through the use of videos, books, and discussions.
